Two of My Favorite Time-Saving Tools for Business

As someone who’s always trying to squeeze more juice out of my days, I’ve tested and experimented with a variety of tech tools.  The following is a list of two of my favorites, along with some best practices for their implementation:

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗬 – this tool syncs with your calendar program, and allows self-service scheduling through the use of evergreen or one-time-use links, which can be customized for different workflows in your business.  I have delineated 8-10 different event types – from a pre-show podcast collaboration call, to new client and candidate intake calls, and everything in between.

Initially, I resisted automating my calendar, because I was concerned that it would put people off to “schedule themselves”.  To alleviate that concern, I always give folks the option of providing me with their availability or using the link – and in 18 months, 99% have used the link, and love the experience.  It also handles rescheduling very seamlessly, and has been a game-changer in my business.

FLODESK – is an incredibly simple tool that allows you to create some of the most aesthetically pleasing email newsletters, forms, and sales pages I’ve ever seen.  I switched to Flodesk after two years with a very well-established but much less user-friendly platform, and even the process of uploading our subscribers and connecting to our website was quick & easy!

I love this tool, for so many reasons – but here are my top 3:

It aligns with my brand – I was able to set my brand colors, fonts and logo with just a few clicks, and that feeds into all of their templates moving forward.

Beautiful ready-to-use templates – every template already looks INCREDIBLE, and just requires just a few tweaks to match customize to your individual style.  There’s no learning curve whatsoever!

Instagram integration – you can connect your Instagram account and it automatically pulls your recent feed posts into your newsletter!
